This years annual gathering of Quakers in Britain will have the Quaker testimony to truth at its heart.
Summer Yearly Meeting – “Are we speaking our truth?”
The meeting from 26-30 July, in person at Friends House, London and online, will consider how the faith has acted on previouspromises and how to foster integrity in public life.
Sessions will take inspiration from individual Quakers and meetings, and from work on climate justice, becoming an anti-racist church, and the inclusion of transgender Quakers.
With a general election expected in 2024, Quakers will consider integrity in the media and politics. This will include exploring how to find kinder ground on which to listen, acknowledge and disagree, and enable a shared quest for truth. Read more
