What’s behind that candle?

Have you ever wondered what’s behind that logo of a candle twisted round with barbed wire? Amnesty International – what does it do? How does it do it? And why on earth is such an organisation – founded over 50 years ago – still necessary?

All these questions will be answered on Tuesday September 8th., at 7.30, at the Friends Meeting House in St. John’s Street, when Graham Dossett will be exploring the vital role Amnesty International plays in seeking to protect the human rights of us all.
