Online Evening Meeting for Poetry, Prose, Music and Silence
Our next Evening Meeting for Poetry, Prose, Music and Silence will be online on Saturday 5th December at 7.00pm in the Quaker Zoom Room. The chosen theme is:-
“Reading gives us some place to go when we have to stay where we are” (Mason Cooley).
If you would like to join us and share some words, music or just listen, you would be most welcome.
For those of you who would like to offer an appropriate music extract, could you please contact Graham Gosling a few days in advance, so that he can arrange for a music ‘clip’ to be downloaded. He will then be able to transmit the extract to the whole group during the session.
As you know, we’ll be using the Quaker Zoom ‘room’.
This is a very informal evening and everyone is welcome.
If you don’t wish to bring a reading or a piece of music, please “come” anyway to listen, enjoy and be “present”.
Virtual refreshments will be shared at the end of the evening if you provide them!
