Richard Murphy, Quaker Economist, Talk, Understand the National Economy, Bury Zoom Room, 7pm Thursday, 13th June

 

As the general election approaches,  Richard Murphy, political economist and professor of Accounting Practice at the University of Sheffield Management School, will speak with us via Zoom on better understanding the functioning of a national economy with a sovereign currency and a central bank.  He will speak for around 30 minutes and there will be a Q&A session at the end of his talk.

Richard is a Quaker. He is the founder of the Tax Justice Network and advises  the TUC on economics and taxation.
