Our Clothes and the Environment

Our Friend Edwina talks about ‘Understanding the impact of the clothes we wear on the environment’.

Inspired by the Canterbury Commitment, and as part of her Textiles degree, Edwina carried out research on the fashion industry. She looked at ethical standards in the supply chain, explored making more environmentally friendly dyes, and learnt how to read a garment label for sustainability. In this talk she will share some of her findings in a Power Point presentation.
