Joan Hobson – Scattering of Ashes

Our Friend Joan Hobson died in June, with her cremation and memorial meeting on 22nd June. Her wish was to have her ashes scattered in Ickworth Park, as were those of her husband, Paul. A tree was planted there in his memory, close to the drive.

Arrangements have been made with the National Trust and the scattering will now take place on Friday, 21st October at 1.30pm, with parking in the Horringer Community Centre car park (IP29 5RU), just outside the gates to Ickworth (click here), and then walking the short distance to the tree.

Bury Friends have offered to provide refreshments and an opportunity to share memories, back at the Meeting House at 2.30 pm onwards.

All F/friends are welcome to join the family at Ickworth and/or at the Meeting House afterwards. The family look forward to meeting us all !
