The Hive Relaunch Grand Opening
We are delighted to invite you to our official grand opening for the relaunch of The Hive on Tuesday 23rd May 2023 from 2.30pm-4pm. The afternoon will be for everyone who has been involved in helping us get to where we are now – including funders, sponsors, service users, volunteers and members of staff. We have just about finished building a new log cabin, which will be our community space replacing one of the polytunnels and allowing us to serve a broader range of the community with a warm, insulated shelter to offer.
The log cabin would not have been possible without a grant from the National Lottery Community Fund, a very generous donation from the Bury St Edmunds Quakers, and a grant/loan from Social Investment Business, as well as funding from Suffolk Community Foundation and West Suffolk Council, as well as several volunteer hours!
We would love to invite you to come and see the new log cabin, have a tour of the site, and enjoy some refreshments with us to celebrate all we have achieved in the last three years of our time at the site.
