Your Faith Your Finance
Whether you have a little or a lot, what you do with your money matters. Your bank accounts, pension funds and investments make you a part of the global financial system. The choices you make about these say a lot about your values and can make a practical difference to the type of world we all live in.
Translating a desire to use your money in a way that supports Quaker testimony can, at first, seem a daunting task. There are lots of different options and many Friends may find it difficult to know where to start.
To help, Quaker Peace & Social Witness has partnered with the Ecumenical Council for Corporate Responsibility to produce Your Faith Your Finance, an exciting new website and workshop to help Friends learn more about and explore ethical finance issues, such as banking, investing, shopping and worshiping in ways that promote ethical, Spirit-led uses of money.
Rather than tell you what to do, Your Faith, Your Finance quotes and explains a range of views. giving space for exploration and discussion. Information on practical issues sits alongside resources for group discussion and reflections on money in the Bible and theology.
We hope that you can join us!
Please RSVP to email@example.com or 01473 806097 by 15 April 2016.
