Exploring Quaker Spirituality and Practice
Woodbrooke on the Road day
Saturday 15th September
Saffron Walden Meeting
Stuart Masters is coming to give a workshop on Quaker Faith and Practices (details below). It’s suitable for both seasoned Friends and newer Attenders. It would be useful if anyone wishing to attend could email biddyvousden@ntlworld.com.
What is Quaker spirituality all about and how does it speak to us today? What is distinctive about Quaker faith and its practices? In our day together we will explore central elements of Quaker spirituality, including:
the founding experiences and understandings of early Friends;
silence, worship and vocal ministry;
corporate discernment;
and the link between our inward spiritual experiences and our lives in the world.
