Climate Change: Fact or Fiction?

A presentation by Raymond Ball will take place for Friends at Bury St Edmunds Meeting House on Saturday 27 October 2018 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Raymond presents evidence of Climate Change and its effects with examples from evolution, the vast movements of earth’s oceans and atmosphere and the complex ecologies of animal, plant and micro-organic life they sustain. He explores evidence for our human role in Climate Change and Global Warming and invites discussion of the lessons we can learn and solutions for a sustainable future.

Raymond is a biologist who has worked in Kew Gardens. He has a particular passion for Orchidaceae and the amazing complexity and interdependence of all life on this planet.

The presentation will be followed by light refreshments. There will be opportunities for questions and discussion during the presentation. Entry is free.
