Arms to Renewables

This talk relates to a campaign currently engaged in by Helen Bradford at Campaign Against Arms trade. She says “The sub title could be:

‘It’s time to redirect the vastly disproportionate political and financial support the arms trade enjoys towards renewable energy instead’.”

Matthew is working for CAAT as part of the Quaker Peace & Social Witness peaceworker scheme.  The talk will take place after MfW on May 24th, starting around 12.15 and taking approximately 25 minutes. There will be a Q & A session to follow.

All are welcome – come to Meeting for Worship first (at 10:30) or just come at 12:00 in time for a cup of tea or coffee before the talk.
