Amnesty – Saudi Arabia and the Conflict in Yemen
The next meeting of Amnesty International, Bury St Edmunds, will be next Tuesday – February 9th., at 7.30. at JustTraid, St. John’s Street. We will be discussing Saudi Arabia and the Conflict in Yemen. This is an issue which, as Friends, we took to Area Meeting, and have asked to be taken up by Meeting for Sufferings. All are welcome.
The bloody conflict in Yemen has been raging for months – but largely ignored by the rest of the world. Devastating air strikes, led by Saudi Arabia, have killed thousands of Yemeni civilians and destroyed homes, schools and hospitals. Meanwhile, the UK government has been providing weapons to those committing these horrific war crimes.
