A busy few weeks
Our meeting has had a very busy few weeks including:
- A visit to a farm run on ecological lines by one of our members
- Silent Climate Witness on Angel Hill
- Took part in the official opening and celebration of the renovated river footpath along the Lark Valley from Bury St.Edmunds to Mildenhall. Project made possible by generous bequest by the late John Hill, a member of our meeting.
- Evening of Poetry, Music, Readings and Silence
- Some members of our meeting took part in our local Climate Cafe
- Local business meeting
- Welcoming visitors to our meeting house for Heritage Open Day, and to participants in the annual Churches Together , Ride and Stride event
- Welcomed members and attenders from Ipswich and Diss Area meeting for a business meeting followed by a delicious tea!
We are looking forward to our bring and share lunch (after our last Sunday meeting of the month) and to our next climate witness on Saturday, 5th October.
